CUES Equipment Assists in Child Rescue
A 13-year-old boy who fell into a sewer pipe during a family Easter celebration at Los Angeles' Griffith Park has been found alive.
During the 12-hour ordeal, searchers and sanitation workers used CUES CCTV pipeline inspection equipment to view inside the pipelines. Hand prints from the boy were found on the inside of the pipe as he was being swept away were identified using the high resolution CUES camera. By following the hand prints, rescuers were able to locate the boy.
